Inspiration! Sara Varon
I receive this Holiday card from Sara today, so exciting! card it self is hand silk-screened AND when I opened the card those 3 also silk-screened stickers came out.  So beautiful~! I love her work so much, I've been a fan of her since we were in school together at SVA.  It's so nice to have friends who are very inspirational!!

Inspiration --- kodomo no kuni
"Kodomo no kuni" is a children publication in Japan which was published between 1922 and 1944.
The color and simple figures.  I really get inspired by all of those beautiful art works. I especially like the fact all those artists are not doing "overly cute" stuff just because it's for children.  I can learn a lot from them :-)
